No. ChatVault stores saved insights locally in your browser. ChatVault does not send your ChatGPT conversation data to a ChatVault server. ChatVault does not operate a backend server for the MVP.

If you forget your passphrase, ChatVault cannot recover your encrypted vault. Your passphrase is not stored by ChatVault. Keep a backup of your passphrase and export JSON backups regularly if you need a recovery option you control.
